Description
Kin’s different stages of ‘power’, from normal to complete takeover.
While her original quirk - Soul Thief - lies dormant 99.9% percent of the time (seeing how she’s only ever actually used it once), she has to rely on the merged result of the two quirks she’s stolen.
This merged quirk has no name. She can’t seem to muster up the confidence to even call it her own. It is made up out of two quirks; an Emitter quirk called Dark Matter, and a Transformation quirk called Giant Wolf. They were her parents quirks.
--------------------
Behavior shifts:
Base Behavior: Mellow. Quietly rebellious.
Phase 0.5-1: Impulsive. Agitated. Restless. Irritated. Determined. Can be reasoned with. Can be talked down.
Phase 2: Aggressive. Impulsive. Confident. Reckless. Looking for violence. Can be reasoned with. Can be talked down.
Phase 3: Impulsive. Reactive. Aggressive. Restless. Wild. Unstable. Can utter the occasional word. Can recognize faces, voices and places. Has not been talked down thus far.
Phase 4: Same as above.
Phase 5: Wild. Rabid. Instinct driven. Does not respond to familiar voices. Do not attempt reason. Shut down immediately.
--------------------
Kin is able to use this quirk as an emitter in her normal form. The dark matter always takes the form of any canine feature; fangs, claws, tail ect. However, the longer she uses it or the more power she puts into it, the easier it is for her quirk to start running wild. It starts with just a black strand of hair and ends up as a massive canine monster of dark matter. This creature can’t be reasoned with.
When covered in dark matter, she loses the ‘human’ sense of touch. Touching searing hot or ice cold things doesn't seem to affect her, but she can still be stopped and hurt by it if applied in force. Physical objects do affect her. If you were to touch her, it would feel like touching a cold yet somehow burning vacuum and you might have trouble removing your hand. It will hurt, it will slowly start pulling off your skin and prolonged contact will cause micro fractures in your hand and fingers, even longer contact would break the bones completely. A punch or kick however seems to be short enough for this vacuum not to take effect.
When taken over, she doesn’t seem to get tired over time. She doesn’t slow down or grow significantly weaker. However, it's clear that it takes a toll on her body. Eventually she'll start coughing up blood, and in time, she'll fall unconscious and revert back to her normal form. It's then clear that the form causes the same skin tears and bone fractures to herself as it does to others. The longest she's been unconscious for from running the timer on this form is two weeks.
