(So I finally got back into monster hunter art after a long hiatus. I'm really excited about the Icebourne expansion so I decided I would design some monsters for it.)

Name: Chisai-Koritachi

Species: Fanged beast

Elements: none

Ailments: bleed

Bio: Chisai-Koritachi are pack hunting fanged beasts that normally inhabit cold areas, though they sometimes move to more temperate climates.Groups consist of up to 8 smaller males (pictured above) lead by a single larger matriarchal female. Pairs of males track and weaken prey ,slashing them with large tail quills and claws before the stronger female arrives to finish it off.

Extra notes:

. Chisai-Koritachi will always be encountered in pairs making them tougher for hunters to deal with

. Chisai-Koritachi's turf war outcomes will change depending on if both of them are in the same area. (Example, a single Chisai-Koritachi would lose to an anjanath in a similar way to great jagras., but two Chisai-Koritachi will overwhelm and repel one)

. Due to their sensitive sense of smell dung bombs are extremely effective against them.

. Chisai-Koritachi's female counterpart Oki-Koritachi is only encountered alone
