Amazingly realistic, not sure how big A0 is though! I love the detail that can be put into larger works.

lol no its not that, i just for some reason want to suprise him. its weird, because i hardly know him, since doing this drawing and spending so much time on his face i kind of have gathered my own view on him, and it makes me feel privaliged to give him a copy of this drawing, weird really, mabye he might not be at all fussed i know man people like that.

i also think that, if i was never a portrait artist i would feel so so privaliged for someone to study my face and think about it and to do something so special as to paint or draw you, how good would it be to have a giant portrait of yourslf about your fire place.... i guesss i just think how mabye an older generation though with the big f off fireplace lol. dunno, its all weird. im finding it hard focusing n this though now, its been so man hours and im still knowhere with it lol, but im determined not to rush.

brennan we should go out soon on bikes or something with joe and ollie or something id like to go out an do something with you lot, i really cherish those times. not enough of them..

hope your still ard at work with your drawings, i would love to see them and mabye one day i might do a portrai of you. ive been thinking about it.

its not wierd that u want tyo surprise him, i felt the same when i gave my dad the portrait of my two sisters for xmas. i think he will be blown away by it seriously, who wouldn't!! i know i would be. i'd be honoured for you to do one of me.

i can only imagine how hard it is for you to stay interested in this doing it this size, to be honest i've totally lost focus in my current piece and thats only a3. haven't done anything on it since xmas, thats bad i know, could have somethin to do with me gettin an xbox for crimbo, lol.

dont worry though, i haven't stopped art completely, i've recently done some more tattoos on my neighbour and his brother, its a lot of fun to do, a bit nerve racking cos i cant make mistakes, i'll post them on here at some point.

we should get bikes out again, i haven't seen you or joe n ollie for ages, i've got things on these nxt couple of weewends, its leo's b-day soon but after that we'll set a date, keep it up mate.

unbe-freaking-lievable. so realistic.

its interesting how you draw each part/feature completely down the the detail all at the same time before moving on to the next area. most artists will do a rough sketch of the whole face, and draw in each phase of the entire drawing one at a time.

its just an interesting way to tackle it.

The skin tones and texture are amazing. I know A0 is huge, maybe next time could you put in an object as a scale reference (like a pencil or something)?

I'm just working on an A3 at the moment & wish the sheet was larger, but A0! OMG

Don't over do it.
I think you shout leave it as is.
Perhaps one day when you do a exhibition you can present this piece is an abstract manner.
I mean,, without the square shape that most other pictures are presented in.
