Here he is, the Toa who truly inspired me to create this MOC gallery, Takanuva, the Twilight Toa.

The main idea was that Takanuva fought alongside the Toa Nuva in the Cordex in Karda Nui as told but the bird-rahi known as Klakk's screech wasn't strong enough to cure him. Poor guy, fell sorry for him. Anyway, He returned to Metru Nui where Turaga Vakama bestow the task into create and train a new team of Toa heroes on the surface continent of Arcadia Nui. He wasn't real sure if he was worthly of perform such task because.........wait for it............he feared that due to the fact he is half-shadow, he has a high chance of Makuta's influence on his behavior and choice making. Vakama realized this reality and reassured him that he wasn't going to be alone as he introduced him to the twins Toa of Psionics, Animus and Amora to assist him when the time arrived that Takanuva could not be able to fight off Makuta's influence any longer.

Takanuva has the color scheme of gunmetal grey and white with the tri-blade lance. I used the Firelord mask due to its similar shape to the Mask of Light. The look of his body is the reason why the Toa Totoga look the way they do because on Arcadia Nui, the Matoran there are a generation that has never seen a Toa before. Takanuva is the first Toa on that landmass in over 5000 years. Yikes! I'm surpised that Makuta hasn't already taken over the place by now.

This will bring an interesting twist for his students due to his fear of Makuta's influence on him and feared that he might end up becoming one of Makuta's puppets.
