Description The Dalek & The Runner Alien

The attack came not from either side of the tree, but from above. The creature had climbed the crooked tree & oozed out of the darkness, the moonlight shining brightly on it's dark carapace. Before it leapt to the ground, the Dalek had enough time to note it's features. It was much smaller than the statues & observed a quadrupedal stance. It lacked dorsal tubes & had a dark brown tinge to it's body.
With a shriek, the creature landed & shot forward towards the Dalek. The mutant had time to fire, but the creature was possessed of formidable agility, dodging this way & that, mud & water being splattered everywhere as the Daleks ray missed it's target.
Sidling past the Dalek, the creature spiralled up a nearby tree. Halfway up & without stopping, the creature vomited forth a yellowish liquid which, thanks to the Daleks equally quick reactions, splattered just in front of the mutants shell. Spray hit the lower portion of the Daleks casing & the sound of sizzling could be heard as it attempted to eat through the bonded polycarbide armour. Though now burned, the portion of the armour hit was largely intact.
"It can weaponise it's own blood!" thought the Dalek
Looking up at where the creature had stopped, the Dalek saw it now clung to the back of a large tree, one leg perched on a branch, the other holding tight to the trunk, it's head craning around the side to see it's enemy. There was something of a goblin about it's appearance,
the metallic teeth bared in a malicious grin, drool slopping out onto the tree & it's inner mouth sliding out of it's mouth & snapping.
Annoyed, the Dalek took aim & fired at the creature, watching as it flung itself from one tree to another. Following it's movements, the Dalek fired once more, this time at a branch the creature was about to land on & watched with some satisfaction as both creature & branch plummeted to the ground.
The creature shot up, a fierce snarl emanating forth from it's slobbering mouth. The Dalek had evidently annoyed it.
With lightning quick speed, the creature shot forth once more, covering the distance between it & the Dalek before the latter had a chance to take aim. Locking together, the creature placed it's right hand over the Dalek's gun stick, whilst the Dalek extended it's sucker arm outwards & fastening the feeler around the creatures bulky shoulder, pushing it back & preventing the use of it's other arm. Both combatants arms now rendered useless, the creature's tail whacked & thudded around the forest floor & the Dalek, the barb occasionally attempting to pierce the casing. The creatures head was positioned directly in front of the Dalek's eye stalk & a stunted dance ensued as the creature attempted to blind the Dalek by shattering the eye with it's inner mouth. Each time it attempted, the Daleks eye-stalk twitched left & right.
During this tussle, the Dalek attempted to shoot it's ray, but thought better of it. To shoot now would blow the creatures hand off & wash acid blood over the gun stick. It had only burned it's lower casing, but that was just splatter. A deluge like what would spill forth would likely render the gun inoperable & from then on, the Dalek would be as good as dead.
Thinking quickly, the Dalek operated the hydraulics on it's telescopic sucker arm, releasing the creatures shoulder & retracting before the arm suddenly shot forth again with enormous speed & strength at the creatures mid-section.
The creature, surprised by the sudden relent in the Daleks resistance was taken further aback by the sudden force & was shot 10 feet backwards.
Gauging it's gun, the Dalek fired a stun blast, hitting the creature point-blank. The creature attempted to raise it's body, before collapsing backwards, it's body curling up into a foetal position, it's tail tucking under the body & over the head.

The rain had stopped at some point in their duel & the Dalek stood motionless now as the silence of the forest washed over the scene. Even whilst fighting, the Dalek had made several observations. The creature clearly acquired some of it's hosts structure, hence the
quadrupedal stance but none of the placidity of the bovine it emerged from. It could use it's own blood as a weapon & it had not been particularly smart. The creature could have simply chosen to hit & run, wearing the Dalek out but it chose instead a frontal assault. It had clearly been enraged by it's fall & reacted accordingly.
"More tests & observations on the other specimens might provide greater data." it thought.
"Slave Units 01-03, report to my location!" The Dalek said out loud
Unit 03, the bigger of the 3 androids, was tasked with carrying the creature back to the Temple, Unit 02 observing it for any signs of awakening.
The night was coming to a close & the light of day creeping in over the horizon as the Dalek, it's 3 androids & specimen in tow, wearily turned back towards the temple
