I'm finding it fascinating how your placement of real life props in a photograph of a watercolor can be so compelling...you might have started a new art form here.

That would be great! but i need the right supplies, if you mind me asking what brand of watercolors and paint brushes you use or recommend?

And doing a bit of research, i heard a lot of good things about Winsor & Newton for watercolor paint and brushes.

Oh....well....
I have two types of, from what i've heard, "begginer set's" of watercolor. The first one i got was a pentel set with 18 colors, and the second one is a reeves set with only 10. They aren't a big deal, and actually, the pentel one can get some weird marks when they dry, so i honestly wouldn't recommend. And both of these are not too expensive ( that's why i have them XD ), and i think the 10 reeves set is enough if you are up for some mixing. Oh, and the pigment on the reeves ones are a lot more powerfull too.
Brushes....ehhhhhhh i have a big mess of brushes here without brand, they are super generic, but i do have two condor watercolor brushes, they are ok-ish. I don't know much about brands, but i highly recommend to use round brushes instead of straight headed ones, they just feel much smoother, and yeah, the watercolor ones usually have a thin tip.
Not about supplies but about brush strokes - i recommend to always work with long, slow strokes other than short fast ones. At least i noticed to get a better result this way. xD
