i used the square hires prop ( you can find under PROP library in Prop folder ) to put a pic of the face and make it a bit transparent to manage the proportion of eyes, nose and the mouth and after i used the parameters ( the morphs++ ) but i using supplementary morphs for the face.....is called ULTRA MORPH....sometime i used Zbrush for making the texture [link] [link] [link]
What is this "face lab"????????

Later Versions of poser (2010 and later, for sure) have a tab called "face lab" or something similar. You give it front and side pictures of a face, and move some dots and lines around to try and align the face with the images, but it never works right. It cannot even get the basic proportions of the face right (but that's a limitation with Poser's models, so it's pretty universal), let alone the fine details. It does a terrible job of it, but for people who use it all the time, you can apparently make something that looks like a person's blander, less attractive cousin.
Using the parameters is a much better way of reproducing a face. I also use 3D modeling software and sculpting software to get closer to the real person's looks.

a nice program to take face texture from a photo is FACESHOP.....you can choose from M4, V4 and other character.....after you need to doing some correction with photoshop....or using Zbrush manually texturing....what programs you know after ZB for sculpting or modelling???

Faceshop sounds cool, I'll have to look it up.
I used ZBrush a little, but I never took the time to get really good with it. I also used Mudbox, Sculptris, and most recently, Blender for 3D sculpting.

Zbrush is really good for projecting textures, they make it easy to 'wrap' textures evenly over surfaces. I use a combination of projected textures and hand-edited textures for most of my work... but I do it in Blender.
