Hm, as a thumb this looked really gorgeous. The pose and composition are well done.
I kind of have a hard time figuring out the shape of his arm pointing towards us.
I can see how i should look like, but this part is too messy.
I like your use of color. The 'main' character is in focus.

Interesting painting. I enjoy the setting and the detail in the foreground. However, more detail needs to be put in the background to make it 'blend in' more smoothly. At the moment, it seems like two different paintings, one for the foreground and one for the background. If you want to make the background less detailed or blurred, make the middle-ground a bit more detailed for a more realistic depth.
