I really like this art style, I tried to draw her but failed miserably, but yours looks a lot more easier to refrence of then my one picture, mind if i use it

Funny thing, I noticed the coloring has some painting thing to it ( even tho it's cellshading and most drawing like this are different in this aspect ). That must be because you're basically a painter ( like KR0NPR1NZ who got quite the same thing when he does more anime-ish drawings ).

It comes as no surprise that you can draw beautifully in another style as well. I personally prefer your more painting-like works, but this is also great, and honestly I'm happy to see anything you have to draw!

I have to say, you are probably one of the only artists I admire on here. And a main reason why is you're unique, you have amazing stories and your style of illustrating is appealing.
Please, please and please do not go down the anime route! it may attract loads of people to your paetron but in an overall sense it would ruin your gallery and any future serious employers will instantly ignore you.

"Just playing with some different style"... Are you like afraid of him changing his series to this style? Please... I do understand that these kind of cases might have happened before with other artists, but I don't see any such risks regarding Wlop
And that about "future serious employers will instantly ignore" is bull... It might be true if the artist starts to create porn or something like that, but if an employer "instantly ignores" you for having a few other style works in your DA gallery I don't think that "employer" is very serious... Just sayin'...

it makes sense to explore a unique style rather than a generic boring anime style. And yeah, a serious employer for an illustration company doesn't want a generic anime artist it doesn't promote a good "vibe".

Second, he never said he was exploring a new style, or that he would change his style to anime... basically you're saying if one strives towards "serious" illustration you can't play around in any other style than the "serious" style?
And do you mean that if an employer came to DA to check some artists, and the one he checks have insanely good "serious" illustrations, but then he's got a few in anime style and he suddenly stops caring for the "serious" art?

Let's see... speaking as a layman, this art has the comfortable anime style many of us are probably used to. Your previous art style looks more mysterious, less common, and so manages to make me feel less... used to? ... it. It has more of an impact because of that, and brings out its own style of beauty. Let's see... I'd never look at one of your other drawings of a woman and immediately say, "wow, she's beautiful," but I often look at your art and say, "wow, that's beautiful," and take a while to look and take it all in. Faces jump out at me, and the hair and background are somewhat left to imagination, making facial expressions very powerful and surroundings indistinct and therefore mysteriously enchanting. I've kinda run out of words to describe what I mean, but I hope this was a decent explanation of why I prefer your other style, and that it helps in some way.
