Just in case anyone is wondering, you flip the image to check for symmetry.ย If the image doesn't look right flipped the other way around, something isn't right.ย This also goes for drawing issues; most commonly with eyes.ย If you can draw one eye really well and the other one just isn't looking right, flip the canvas vertically and then draw it.ย The side that you're getting the better results from is your more dominant side, so in a nutshell, that's why you do so well with one side and not as well with the other side.
