CALIGULISA!!! The mystery of Caligula's eyes!I know, this is totally random, but I ended up making this and I've noticed... Man, where is the demon in blue looking? Is she looking left? Maybe right? Or even at us! It just depends on how you look at it.
This is a mystery! Don't ask me!*cough cough* Okay... I got it.
These delightful demons are ~CrazyKyoFanGirl 's.
She won ~typenameherelol 's contest, and I was one of the prize artists.
Her request was: Draw Caligula and Calphurnia having tea. Yeahhh.
And, this is my first 100% digital drawing. The lineart was made using tablet and photoshop. There's a good point: The quality of the lineart itself is pretty good. It's soft and even a bit blurry, I like it.
The problem is - the lack of details! It doesn't even look like it's mine... And the HAIR
Where are the hair details, Debbie? 
I'm so sorry! Drawing with a tablet is harder than it seems! 
I hope you like it dear friend. I know it isn't that good but I made it with love and the best of intentions. I changed some colors and you might want to spank me, but it was with the best of intentions too. If you want me to change something, just tell me, okay?

Ééé... Maito, o cabelo da Calphurnia tava tão simples (parecendo aqueles cabelos de plástico tipo anime -_-) que eu tive que pintar desse jeito diferente.

Thank you, I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0... I have Photoshop Elements 6.0 too, but I think it's harder to zoom in and out so I use Photoshop 7.0
SAI is also good but it's so hard to learn!

How do you color?
one layer for each part or all colors in one layer then the shade on another.

Yes, I make one layer for one's hair, then skin, then clothes, etc... Then I create a new layer and I... How can I say? Press ctrl + G. The shading layer will only be on the underlayer. It is very useful!
Sometimes, mainly on the hair, I use highlights tool for more shine.
