Description
The R2z Starship Maintenance Droid was an improvement of the PG-5 gunnery droid. The droid not only had a pair of vertical hydraulic pistons, but also had a retractable heavy grasping arm, a retractable fine work heavy grasper arm, a video sensor with a one-meter long fiber-optic lens extension, and an electric arc welder. Moreover, the droids had a scomp link to interface with data, and their shielded data storage module could resist blaster fire. R2z droids were mainly used on various starports and repair shops across the galaxy.
