: My very dear character Vivillai!

: This character has very special place among my characters. From the very first steps I knew this is exatly what my characterbase needs. Vivillai is so natural in the games and easy to write about that wouldn't ever consider changing it to anything else. This time she ended up being target for various new experiments.
I really chalengend myself this time with Promarker markers and with water colours. I have colored the character with Promarkers and shadows under Vivillai are done with water colours. I like to stay on my comfortzone when drawing and that's why I end up braking down during the process. This results in lack of experimenting propably even necessary new things if I think this picture is good enough for publishing. Vivillai's fur texture has gone through some testing but this time I wasn't brave enough to continue it further. Thisa picture didn't have any background before so I ended up fixing the outcome with photoshop and at the same time I fixed some of the colours. I also tried to make the picture more lively. The picture is syrup smoothish but I think it balances the scale with more darker themed pictures.
This picture is first of twelve since I made a new years resolution to complete one art for every month in this year. I try to make one traditional artwork once in a month and at the same time I try hone my skills with different kind of tools. It might be a bit too early cheer yeat but I relly think I can pull this resolution out!
