Continuing with Love, Death & Robots uploads 🖤☠️🤖 This time it's an early version of a remote Saulmaki Space Station docks from Beyond The Aquila Rift together with sketches. At this point, the design of the spaceship was not established so I had to improvise! I loved how the station developed after my input was over and I really dig how it changed from my concept in the final version of the short. Great image, the LOD is really nice. Maybe I'm just being picky, but as soon as I saw the workers on the platform I started looking for atmospheric controls. There's an open docking bay to space and nothing that looks like a force field holding atmosphere inside the hanger with hazy light glow happening, and the workers aren't wearing any space suits. I kind of lost immersion at that point, but I understand it's just a picture . Other then that I really enjoy the image.
