It's troubling, I have a character which looks a lot like this woman... And I had not seen this beautiful artwork before...
Now I feel the need to change my character's clothing so that it doesn't almost "copy" this woman's clothes...

Interesting use of background and foreground. The character is very enshrouded by the environment. It's subtle to the right. Implied by the rocky terrain, but to the left it's almost overbearing. she seems to be cornered by that vibrant burst of a tree. Emphasised by her place at the bottom of this little piece of terrain.
Beautiful scene. I love the intensity of her position. she's very introverted in her pose although not quite guarded. She also really conveys the idea of her focus on her own world.
Lastly it's a fascinating use of lighting very interesting. She seems just about lit. It seems to blur certain parts of the piece.

Did you flirt with the idea of putting something diagonally down/left of her head, around those stones, in an effort to adhere to the rule of thirds?
Or maybe it's the reason those stones have the strongest highlights on it.
