This is more Joy Division influenced than The Alan Parsons Project, but the title does seem more APP leaning. Back when digital music meant AAD or ADD labels on CDs, and people decried the loss of analog LPs (though that never happened), I listened to Joy Division's album Closer while looking at the insets on the CD. If anyone remembers those images, they're very stark. But, in some strange ways, Gaudi's architecture in an attempt to "reach heaven", it reminded me of that moment in time while in my college apartment listening to the album while intently looking at those images. And so this image was born. No, Doctor Who fans, that's not a weeping angel. I hope you like this image.
