18. Motherhood
The first sketch I had in mind for this title involved Tales of Symphonia, Oh how our minds will wander if left alone. XD

This is Liara T’soni from the Xbox 360 game Mass Effect. Anyone who has played the game will know that Liara is of an alien species called the asari, which is why she’s blue, and has the tentacle-things instead of hair.

I pick Liara on every playthough with my main Shepard, yes, I’m femShep/Liara fan, she’s so much more interesting than Kaidan. Anyway, I drew this picture with the thought in mind that those of use who choose Liara would like to possibly see a little asariShep daughter in the future (even if Liara is still in her maiden stage).

There’s a rather interesting theory that the crest on an asari differs between them depending on their Sire/dame, since asari can reproduce with any species. This theory holds that an asari sired by a turian might have a more grayish crest, and an asari with a salarian sire might have a crest that appears more scaly, etc. in keeping with that theory, I added a slight peach overtone to the child’s crest to represent her connection to her human parent. The little one has slightly darker skin than her mother, possibly an inheritance from her grandmother (Benezia) Liara's top is based on her regular science uniform, and the few asari designs we see in-game, the little one's shirt is a purposeful call-back to the default amour that Shepard has at the very start of the game.

I didn't give her a name, so I'll leave it up to you what you think your Shepard would like to call his/her child.
