Backstory Stuff -

Takatifu though raised as a infant by Ashera knows she isn't his mother, she made it clear but it doesn't mean Takatifu doesn't see her in a motherly light. He also knew he was a lion from the very beginning, just these differences never bothered him despite how he wouldn't have fit in with the leap as he got older.

He was the result of an affair between noble Kuishi and Shadow Marozi Adimu, Takatifu is half marozi and half normal lion. Adimu left Takatifu with Ashera ro spare Takatifu a tougher life and vanished into the night, breaking the leopardess heart. Ashera and Adimu had grown close during the time of her pregnancy and the birth of Takatifu.

His best friends were two leopard cubs called Binti and Mafuta, he later shares a close kinship with Tabasamu and princess Griselda once he leaves the Kijani behind to join the lions permanently.

His relationship with Griselda is one of love at first sight, Griselda's visions made her feel a intimate connection to him from their first meeting. Griselda's romantic feelings form later but for Takatifu he knew from the start he loved her and its a main motivator in his journey to save the Mbinguni Kingdom under her wishes. Despite all the horrors he faces in her stead, he wants to see her happy and smiling more than she does now, he hates she's so sad.

The Great Kings of the Past foretold [chose him] he would meet Griselda and together fight off a great evil, the great war later ends in the creation of the Ndona PrideLands, with Griselda as queen and him as her king.

His romance with Griselda is complicated due to their differences in ranks, but he never felt threatened he would lose Griselda, he trusted her and she trusted him. Their relationship lacked jealousy due to the depths of trust they had for each other, to the point its a major flaw they fight at times. Mostly because Takatifu is too good for his own good and Griselda feels she ruined his life and many others.
