Description
It had started at about twelve at night. The rain was pouring heavily now that Spring was very near and the month of March was very young at the moment. Tibbles hadn't thought it would begin so late at night or so soon. They hadn't been due for another week or two so the loud yapping of his old friend Shux had worried him awake seeing as the West Highland Terrier male always liked his sleep and was never one to stay up late throughout the night.

"Tibbles!" Shux shouted, his barks high pitched and yappy, causing the neighboring canines who tried to sleep to yell in massive distaste for the male Westie born on a Puppy Mill. "Get up, man! Its Luk! Its happening!"

Tibbles' tan-furred head shot up from his cobalt blue pillow, causing him to hurry to the window before rushing out the doggie door, awakening his mother and father in the process who gave a very groggy: "Wha...?"

The full grown kituppy pinned his ears back nervously as he stared at his childhood friend with wide emerald irises. "Already?!" He exclaimed fearfully whilst Shux's head nodded in excitement. "B-but they weren't meant to be due for another few days!"

"Well, here they come. C'mon! I'm pretty sure you want to be there, bro." The round dog turned away from the upset Tibbles and hurried down the porch steps, his fur soggy and wet from the heavy downpour. Tibbles quickly followed Shux's lead, dashing along pregnant puddles and sliding along slick hills of nasty and sticky brown mud.

Lightning sparked around them, outlining the two males' bodies and highlighting them in an aura of bright white. Shux pinned his ears at the booms, avoiding a car with clear ungrace while Tibbles was forced to wait a moment, his natruel instinct known as fear holding him back.

Sometime passed before the two arrived at the old-looking two-storied building that was Luk and Shux's house. Soaked to the skin, the two friends marched along the carpet of the living room before stopping by the basement door. Tibbles' strained his ears for a noise and picked up Luk's muffled whines of pain. He was tempted to barge in if only the door wasn't sealed shut.

"My owner Lavender did that." He explained. "She was with Luk when the pains started at like about 11:35ish. She won't let me in."

"Oh." Tibbles chewed his bottom lip nervously, the snarl of thunder making him cower in the hungry darkness. "Do you think she'll be okay?"

"Of course she'll be. It isn't like dogs haven't had puppies before. Even firstys come out fine. Your Mom's a prime example of that seeing as how many siblings ya got." Shux soothed whilst Tibbles lowered his eyes a bit.

The night dragged on. By about 1 or 2 am the rain had began to thin and the snarls of thunder lessened. Tibbles and Shux lied down near the counter in the kitchen, half asleep as the two tried to stay awake. Tibbles worried for his mate... Although soon, the basement door gently pushed open and an young girl came out with a smile on her face.

The rosie-headed girl approuched the two and tugged and Shux's ear with a happy giggle. "She's okay. Your an uncle Shuxiepoo!" Shux cringed as he was scooped into her arms, being heavily squeezed till he looked at Tibbles for help. Although the new father had already left to step down the stairs and into the basement where his new family resigned.

"What if they came out weird? What if they don't look right? What if one of them has an extra leg? What if---!" He was hushed of his worried ranting at the sound of crying. It wasn't Luk's cries... but of a baby. Or babies? They were soft and they sounded like the mixture of barks and mewing considering their father's heritage.

"Luk?" He whispered. "You... you okay?"

His Westie mate looked exhausted, her eyes lined with purple eyeliner drooped and her ears fell a bit, her jaws were slightly agape as she panted but she still managed a small and feeble smile. "I'm okay, Tib."

Tibbles happily fell besides his beloved, pressing his face against her's and nuzzling her feircely. "Luk. Have I ever said how much of a great woman you are?"

"Many times, Mr. Ladies Man." She mocked weakly, her voice sounding strained. Shux's sister suddenly gave another smile. Bigger and stronger then the first. "Come and see, Tib. Your a big dad now."

With quiet steps, he stood up, listening to the cries and peaked over Luk's back... He felt dizzy as realty slapped him roughly. He was a dad...

Yep. Tibbles and Luk have kids now (or kid?) This takes place in their future where they are married and much older. (In most of the pics, the characters are all teenagers. Here, they are full grown adults.) I decided not to show anything about the baby (or babies) for I didn't feel like making designs and names at the moment. (I am cruel to you. Haha.)

Maybe I'll ask some of my friends to make designs and give me suggestions of how many, names and all that. In the story, they (or it) are (or is) born a week or two earlier then planned.

Darn. I forgot Tibbles eye whiskers x-X

UPDATE: The babies have names and designs now. There are twins (Not identical) named Dimitri (Dema/Dee Dee) the girl and the boy is Buck.
