Description I don't care anymore if I let you down
I believe that I need to be free
I'm so used to my life with you around
I don't know anymore the real me

[Chorus:]
And I thought that I found myself today
And I thought that I had control
All the change in my life just fell away
For a moment I didn't need you

All these tears that I've cried you must be tired of
Taking care of me but
It's what you do best and I'm a liar cuz
Really it's what I need

[Chorus]

Someone like you
Someone like me
Maybe it's change
That sets you free
Free

[Chorus 2x]

This wolf ( or dog, I think its a lion) is very cute ! It makes me think of Lion King :3.
I wouldn't draw the grass that way but its up to you how to draw the grass.
I love the light bugs( I've forgotten what they're called, so... )
And the shading is very good, keep it up with that e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

I love how you vision and draw your art, it is a very special thing that no one can copy it e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

I really like this, it's cute. The mood it sets is great, when I look at people's art I often wonder "what were they thinking about during the making of this?"
The shading is nice, the only thing I can say is that there's such sharp shading on the body, then very soft shading on the ground from where the shadow casts. Maybe if it were a bit sharper? But don't let it discourage you, I hardly have room to talk, or judge for that matter. Shading is one of my weaknesses.
I really enjoy the bold, smooth lineart, then the thinner lines to show body featuring and tones. Maybe a bit more turfs of fur all about the body, and around the neck. I'm not sure what type of canine this is but I'm guessing he's a scruffy one. :3
Either way, I think this is really cute and nice. Also the lighting bugs (?) are nice, just gives it more to look at.
And honestly the grass isn't so bad, though I would like to point out that it's a bit transparent. But the little patch closest to the front near the right is nice, even if it is transparent. Looks a bit blurred, which is nice because it's so close, the eyes wouldn't focus on it, the main focus is this cute little canine.

All in all I really think this is nice, and just adorable. I hope I didn't offend you, if it makes you feel any better you can check out my art and laugh. I do it all the time.

What a great style! I just absolutely love the way the paws and head have been drawn! The spots with fur are just great, and the (are they lightening bugs?) lightening bugs have a great added effect.

Personally, I would draw the grass a different way - but, you're the artist, so it's entirely up to you to do however you wish! I would maybe add just a tad bit more detail to the ground - but then again, you're the artist.

Overall, I love this style, and hope you think this is helpful (even if just a little). Keep up the good work!

Cute style. I disagree with the other critique in that I've seen grass done that way purposefully for a more stylized look. Of course, it is always good to know how to draw things more than one way, so if you draw grass that way simply because you don't know how to draw it differently I'd recommend learning. I really like the lights, they're very cute. I like the line art very much, and the flat colouring / cell shading is nice. I would recommend and more consistent light source in your shading- despite the possible argument that the light source wouldn't be consistent because of the lights (fireflies?) they don't appear to be the light source because the reflected light doesn't really light up with any of the floating lights.
I think that the shading could also be a lot smoother, especially the line on the closest front arm isn't very smooth. Make sure to always colour inside the lines as well! The highlight on the closest front leg goes over the line a few times.
The sharp shading on the body also contrasts the soft ground shadow too much.

I know that's a lot of critique, but I'll be honest- I really like this piece. The expression on his face is very well done, and as I said, the line art is simply beautiful. I also really like the varying colours in the sky- very nice job!

k here's my critique. this is an amazing picture but i did notice that the grass.. it looked like it was rushed. the fireflies look great i like the background and the pose. but the footprint on the ground looks like its paper not very realistic. i liked how you formed the sky. it looks like it was made by sai paint witch is good cause sai paint make everything look better. i noticed that the paws have no claws or toe X3 but still i like this very much e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/bā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> i hope you can improve someday e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> and i hope this helped. even if it helped just a little bit e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

Hello, I will be critiquing the PICTURE, not the song. The picture, after all, is the first thing you see on the page. It is what will eaither grab your attention or turn you away. Honestly, I thinkyou were better off publishing the song seperatly, although I think that the picture is great. Still it dosen't hold up to the song. The first impression I got was "Photoshop light effects." Although they aren't bad, I would suggest that you turn down the transparency so they won't be so stark. Since they turn away from the color scheme, they distract me. The blades of grass could also be muted. You should also consider changing the brush dynamics on the outlines, for they end in rather unatractive points. Aside from that Fine Tuning, I think its good.

I love the thought process put in to this picture. Though the idea wasn't too original, the design of the character is. I was really drawn to the detail of the sky and face. Also, I like what you did with the yellow specs. The grass is done very well, and I like the fine lines on his face and around his hind legs. There are some things I noticed. One, the watermark at the bottom, and 2, the impression of a paw print larger than his feet which really impacts his size. over all, It's a very emotional work of art, and it's incredibly well done.

Well this is my first critique, but I'll make sure it's a good one. I enjoy this whole picture especially the almost night sky. I think you did a great job on the wolf pup. I also simply love the point of this. It's about a wolf pup, who needs to find himself in the world, for he is lost and will go on to the world to find himself, his true self. I also enjoy the fireflies all over this beautiful piece of art. The fireflies add a mighty feeling to this piece. It gives a feeling that says it's nighttime and he is deep in thought.

Critique time! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/lā€¦ " width="19" height="19" alt="" title="La la la la"/>

I'll start with the general impact I got when I first laid my eyes on this. I mean wow. This is just beautiful. The mood, the background, the atmosphere... very well done! Again, you truly master the art of creating scene full of emotions, you can just feel how torn little Avin is. The fireflies... no matter how many times you use them, no matter how "cliche'" it might be, they just always manage to bring a touch of magic. I'll never get tired of them!

Next I'll say a few words about the technique. The linework is fantastic, especially knowing you work with a mouse. The color concept is pretty and fits the mood of the picture. The lighting and shadowing are excellent, I dare say some of your best. Avin's pose and expression reflect the inner conflict he is having, and this is one of those pieces where you've done it so well you wouldn't need a word to explain this artwork. Just look at it and you know what is going in on: you feel it.

Last, I have some suggestions for improvement. No complaints, only suggestions. ^^ The bg, like I said, looks great, except the grass looks a bit rushed. If you weren't feeling like drawing every single blade of grass prefect, you could have used the grass brush. XD The lighting is excellent as I mentioned, but I think those fireflies are bright enough to cast some faint light onto Avin. While this is a very minor thing, it could help Avin blend into his environment.

Very beautiful piece, hope to see more like this!

Nippy

I really like the drawing. I agree with TurtlezPabus, I also thought he was one of the characters of Lion King. The way it is created makes it look like being viewed from the nearby grass which is a very good effect.

I did a quick paint over in photoshop.
Great image!
All I can say (in words here) is that the pose could be tweaked a bit to portray the emotion and to stick to your light sources

uuuhhh well for EXACTLY like that, dont use any airbrush or opacity. I just used the default round brush in photoshop and focused on the light sources.

Just think of it as painting on a canvas. There's not REALLY opacity using real paints like acrylic and oil. (ok maybe watercolor but thats not the point )
