Description Samuel sat in waiting outside the vet's office, as snow was slowly beginning to fall, then, upon noticing his father coming out the door, he stood up, the tip of his tail slowly wagging in anticipation.

- Dad, how's Elliot? Is he going to be okay? Samuel asked with a tone full of concern for his older brother who had fallen through ice during their race on a frozen lake, and now, Elias walked over to him.

- He'll be fine, he's resting now, you can go see him in the morning, Elias said, and Samuel let out a sigh if relief, and lowered his head. Elias now cleared his throat, and assumed a rather serious "dad tone", and began:

- Now then, Samuel...

- Oh geez, here we go... mumbled the young wolfdog, as he knew that every time his parents called him by his full name, he was in trouble.

- I believe we outta have a serious talk, Elias continued, Sam sighed, and raised his head to face his father.

- Look, dad, before you say anything, I just want to say, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen, I-I... it was just a really bad idea that went terribly wrong, the young wolfdog pleaded.

- I know you didn't mean to, son. But you have to understand this: you both could've been killed, if your uncle and I hadn't gotten there in time, Elias spoke, with a strict but still a calm tone.

- Yeah, I know, Sam sighed, lowering his head again and his ears drooped.

- Look, Sam... you've got to shape up, and stop acting so recklessly. Your mother and I have to constantly worry about you, and we're afraid that one day, these shenannigans are gonna get you in even worse problems. You boys mean the world to us, and we don't want to loose you. Do you understand? Elias spoke with a calm tone, and Samuel now raised his head.

- Yes, dad. I promise I won't do anything that stupid again, he promised, and now, a smile rose to his father's face.

- That's what I wanted to hear. Now, it's getting late, you should go home and get some sleep, Eli said with a smile. Samuel turned around, and glanced over his shoulder one more time.

- Good night, dad.

- Good night, son, Elias nodded, and now, the young wofldog started walking away. Eli looked after him, letting out a sigh, then he quietly shook his head, and smiled.
