Description To start off the villain portraits, I went with Venom.  Venom is my favorite supervillain in the comics because of the interesting concept that goes with him.  When Spider-Man first wore the Venom symbiote, we all saw a darker side of the web slinger.  He was less friendly neighborhood and joking, and more cruel and reckless.  So when we see Spidey fighting Venom, we are in a way seeing Spider-Man fighting his shadows, his evil side.  Out of all those that wore the Venom symbiote, Eddie Brock is my favorite "bad" Venom, but I also enjoyed seeing how Flash Thompson showed the symbiote the ways of a hero as Agent Venom.

Quick summary of Venom: Eddie Brock grew up in San Francisco, CA.  After graduating from college, he moved to New York to become a reporter for the Daily Globe newspaper.  To try finding his "big break" as a reporter, Brock managed to find a letter by a guy claiming to be the Sin-Eater, a criminal who was "punishing sinners."  However, as Brock was getting a confession from the guy, Spider-Man managed to catch the REAL Sin-Eater that same day.  This made Brock a laughingstock, and was fired from the Daily Globe.  He was only able to get small works for tabloids.  He blamed Spider-Man for his misfortune.  One night, he decided to go to a church and try asking for forgiveness.  Earlier that night, Spider-Man (who was currently wearing the symbiote suit), used the church bells to remove the symbiote from him.  Feeling abandoned by Spider-Man, the symbiote stayed in the shadows of the church.  It soon sensed Brock with the same hatred for Spider-Man and bonded with Eddie, becoming Venom.

I am looking forward to how the upcoming movie "Venom: Let there be Carnage" turns out (Tom Hardy is a better Eddie Brock than Topher Grace in my opinion), along with how Venom will have a role in the PS4 Spider-Man sequel.

Is Venom your favorite symbiote?  If not, who is?  Also, who do you think might be Spider-Man's greatest foe?  Leave your thoughts in the comments below
