He might be relatable to a few people, because of his label "the Sorrowful Rider". The reason being is because he has only 99 days (roughly over 3 months) to live and find the 15 Eyecons to make his wish, or he'll permanently die on the 100th.

Yeah... Its a bit darker than other series, but I bet there will be a great meaning to his journey. According to some of the earliest sources, part of his journey is to understand "the feelings of great men", whatever that could mean.
Look up Benkei, and "Benkei tribute" on YouTube. He's is an amazing tale.
