Description The Letter of the Day is H, and it stands for Hello everyone, and welcome back to another episode of Halloween Reviews. Today, we're taking a look at Sesame Street. Ah yes, I remember growing up with series on PBS Kids. Made by the talented Henson Company. It was a show that started in 1969 and this show is still around nearly 52 years later as of the time writing this. It's a show that has no sign of stopping and this one that still holds up to this day. It's one of the few shows that left an impact through its great writing, cast of likeable and relatable characters and a world that you would like to spend time with. It's a show that you can tell that Jim Henson clearly put passion into next to The Muppets. So, for Halloween, I decided to review the main episode of this topic called: Elmo's Halloween Costume (and I know Thomperfan is gonna love this one).

Screw it, I'm going to skip to the review without giving much of a synopsis. The main topic of this episode is Jealousy. I like how it's done here. Remember that one thing Elmo is known here in this show is that he gets jealous, a lot. So yeah, he is the right character for this one, and what and who is Elmo jealous of? No, it's not Zoe and it's not Rocco. It's Irwin and his Galactic Stan costume. It shows that Elmo clearly put a lot of hard work making his own version of the costume and the items within. Then Irwin came along about his costume having the better stuff, while Elmo doesn't. He tries to make his own stuff, but Irwin comes with a better one (bought by his mommy sack). I always enjoy it when Elmo goes berserk and how this episode stays that jealousy is not on the level of sad or mad, but on both without the same feeling and they do it in a way that doesn't talk down to kids. Something that gives this show lasting power. When you think Elmo was about to give up, he learns a lesson that he shares with Irwin (and something that was never thought up before), his imagination. Think about it, he made his own costume with effort and thought up on them, while everything was being handed to Irwin. Nothing takes away from a child more than their imagination and they both learn on that. and it ends right there.

It's proof that Sesame Street is not gone anytime soon, and it basically says "Yeah, we still got it" A- (9/10) Amazing
Next Time:
We'll be talking about a certain cat and mouse duo, but not in their golden ages, but their 2nd to their most hit or miss era (behind the 2014 incarnation)

Sesame Street belongs to Sesame Workshop and PBS Kids
