Completely forgot I even drew this one on miiverse x3 Here's a minun and plusle I used to draw sometimes. I liked to imagine minun was generally displeased by every thing plusle made him tag along with her to do though there were times they both went out and did things they both liked (though not often). If I remember correctly, this was drawn during a time I called tie-day friday, where I'd draw pokemon dressed up in suits, ties, dresses and ribbons since it was a fun thing to do. Had quite a few of these posted to miiverse during a time I wasn't on often so ended up committing to posting at least every friday until I did have time to post more often. I never did get around to naming them, but they were fun to draw in scenarios n_nOriginally posted to miiverse (25/4/15)

Awww; these two are adorable! I do like Plusle and Minun; my brother and I had one respectively during our original RS playthroughs.
I love how well the personality of the two comes out in this drawing; you should consider drawing more of this duo at some point.

Minun and Plusle aren't amazing per say, but their definitely a case of 'better than you'd expect.' Their stats aren't amazing but they learn good moves at a decent rate and have decent TM options. I'm biased in preferring Minun, it's Special Defence is better, but Plusle has higher Special Attack that can be put to great use if you've got a speedier one.
An as you might expect, their fantastic to use during a run of Sapphire/Alpha Sapphire! The best options for a pure Electric type in the original Gen 3 versions!

Manectric needs no explanation, but if I were to try and give it one... Electrike and it's evolution is the rare PokΓ©mon that Raphie and I agree on is silly looking in all stages, not very efficient to use and easy to destroy in battle. It's an unfortunate PokΓ©mon, born looking like an anvil and not looking much better as it goes along; particularly when they gave it a mega evolution.
Given your AS Nuzlocke, you seemed to put it to much better use that what Raphie and I could as we didn't have much fun trying to use it in battle either. You seem to like it so good for you but when it comes to Hoenn electric types, with Magemite/Magneton and Minun available, I'd have no reason to consider an Electrike/Manectric myself.

True it looks pretty ridiculous, especially its mega evolution is just horrendous. It's grown on me though through the few AS playthroughs I have played I usually end up having one.Β
Haha all good if you didn't like it though, it's definitely not the best when it comes to electric types. I'd have loved to have gotten a minun during my playthrough though ended up encountering electrike instead.Β
