Description
This picture is part of the remake of my old 'Folks' series, portraying various folks from my Witch Hunters and Sword and Feather books.
This is one of the single pictures, there will be a version with all folks in the end.
The comment section will be enabled beneath this all-in-one-version.
Humans belong to the Light Folk, are one of the younger folks and the one largest in number.
Aggressive, warlike and evil on the one hand, but creative, curious and benign on the other hand, they're in constant conflict with one another, the other folks and the world they live in.
There are rather many humans capable of psychic powers or great magic; the older folks say that's because there's so much unused space in their heads.
Compared with the older folks, humans don't live very long, which might be the reason why they tend to do things too rashly and forget about their previous mistakes too fast.
None of the other folks tries so ardently to get rid of the evil - which is caused constantly by themselves - than humans do.

I first had to google what exactly you mean... That's because they're based on historic costume more or less. I have lots of books about fashion through the ages.
I don't write historic fantasy, I rather hate that, but I think a costume should make some sense and look real, hence history's your friend here.

I think we've talked about this before. Some are like paper dolls, where you just pick an outfit that's already made and put it one the figure. Others give you more choice. You can choose the doll's physical features, what style of outfit, and what colors and patterns. The latter is the one I use for my pictures. If you view my gallery you can see examples of some.

That might well be, I remember now I've talked about this before (I'm old, you know).
I'm not sure what I think of it, though. If you can't draw one bit, maybe it's helpful, on the other hand the best way to learn something is doing it, especially if you're afraid to fail.
