In case anybody hasn't noticed yet I'm actually a writer...If you enjoy my art; the books are quite the same, just with words instead of lines and colour -
readable for all mentally older than twelve and blessed with a healthy sense of black humour.

Maybe a weird question but are the words you use in german more basic words or more difficult? I'm from belgium (dutch speaking part) and have german in school (I suck at it though...) I try to always read in the original language but even though I read comics in german a book is... well a lot more text... Would a beginner (whose language is similar to german) be able to read the book?

Well - hard to say. I'm using a rather colloquial tone when I write, especially in the dialogues. There is lots of play on words stuff and I also like to create new words. So I'd say, it might be quite difficult to understand and maybe not the best choice for your first book in German.
Perhaps the English version would be better?

I am lucky dutch is soo similar, it seems I'm able to read it. (It's writing and remembering the words to say when speaking that is mostly my problem... oh and the grammar... The grammar is the hardest part) I guess I know what to do in the summer vacation! (maybe this time I won't finish my books in 2 days...)

Yes, it's quite similar. I don't speak Dutch, but often I understand it nonetheless.
I have that grammar problem with French; haven't used it since school, and understanding it still works more or less, but building whole sentences; grand catastrophe!
If it gives you some comfort: most Germans can't properly speak (or write!) German either.

I am supposed to be able to speak french... I've been learning the language from 10 years old but I still suck at it...

I learned English in school since I was ten or eleven and French since thirteen, whether I wanted or not, no other languages offered.
No, that's not so much a problem, but people can't conjugate the verbs or use the right time form or sentence structure or write properly altogether. It's pretty horrible and gets worse since the German education system sucks so much.

I just finished the first book, and oh my god, it is amazing! I could rant on and on about how amazing it is, but I'll restrain myself. But I can't wait for the next one, and I completely suggest it to anyone who sees my comment. Great job!

Aw, thank you! Such feedback really means a lot to me.
I hope everything works the way my translator has planned it and the second book will be finished till Christmas,
and we can manage it that the German version will always be just one book ahead (after all, there will be seven parts).
And I want to make a real website till then, too, not that makeshift thing I have now.
We'll do our best!

I'm very happy with the English translation, but German is the original, hence more the 'real thing' -
depends on how well you understand the languages, I guess.

Er - sure? They're normal books, the only thing is that you have to buy them online because they won't be lying out in a bookshop.
Just search the ISBN on Amazon and there it is.
