I know, Also for the three Digimon to choose for the starter
They are Tentomon, Betamon and Gotsumon
I'm going with Gotsumon.

I known, but for me I pick my starter Digimon by their evolution tree, through the last Cyber sleuth game I know their Digivoultion tree.
Gotsumon can digivolve to Tankmon, Anklomon, starmon, clockmon, Golemon or Airdramon
Betamon can digivolve to Seadramon, Vegiemon, geckomon, numemon or shellnumemon
Tentomon can digivolve to Kabuterimon, Waspmon, Sunflowermon, Stingmon or Kuwagamon
