Suffice to say The Klyntar's come in mighty handy during this horrific saga. XD So yes, you'll see Spartans like Master Chief and others wearing Symbiotes and among many other beings wearing Symbiotes cause and to quote G-Verse Cyborg. "You Can't Infect Goop."

Also yes...Doom Slayer himself will also be wearing a Symbiote. Not really for protection given that it turns out due to his being blessed by the Seraphim he's immune to Flood Spores (his rage apparently just burns them the minute he breaths em) and is resistant if not outright fucking impervious to Necromorphs trying to infect him (AKA Plot Armor. XD) he terrifies both The Flood and Necromorphs as much as he does Demons. XD As for the Symbiote he's wearing...not sure yet. All I know is he'll look absolutely fucking terrifying...more than usual. XDD

Does this mean there will be a Flood/Necromorph Hybrid? Possibly, given just about anything can happen in The Guardian-Verse, it's safe to assume that yes, a Horrific hybrid abomination that was spawned from a drunken night between a Flood and Necromorph (Good god I don't think even Rule 34 would wanna touch that...or I could be wrong and someone already has. XD) will most likely show up to cause a headache or two...and quickly take care of those via decapitation. XDDDD

Now I know there's probably the chance that Symbiotes could actually be infected by either The Flood or a Necromorph but for the sake of storytelling they're immune to both and provide a good amount of protection for their hosts in The Guardian-Verse. (Besides, I doubt Spores would work on a Symbiote and it'd be pretty difficult for an Infector Necromorph to try and infect a Symbiote Host given they got a living suit)
