Given their experiences in The Skyriver Galaxy during The Galaxy Far Away Saga and what happened to an unfortunate many Clone Trooper in said galaxy thanks to Order 66, you can understand Diana's distrust at first, but once everything was cleared, she warmed up to the boys quick.

After all, they had some of her Husband's best qualities if albeit one was shy and reserved and the other arrogant, hot headed and showboating but they still had Clark's heart despite sharing blood with Lex.

Oh and Lex learns about the Inhibitor chips that had been implanted in the Clone Troopers from Dr Eggman later down the line, Lex has a "Why didn't I think of that?" Moment. XD Even he overlooked the potential in an inhibitor chip. lol
