Many people and governments had heard of the evil being known as The Dark, the one responsible for The Collision Event.

However many figured he was just a Metahuman or a Mutant with the power to make people see things and such.

Boy where they wrong when The Dark decided to pay a visit to Nex-Earth and give them a warning.

No not just a warning but a Message. A Message to The Light and The Guardians of Freedom. He decided to do it the best way possible.

Destroy.

And Destroy he did.

In an instant one of the worlds cities was laid to waist, Los Angeles now a smoking crater and with his powers he made sure the world saw it happen.

The World's population now knew he was very real.

"Humans...Such a Weak and arrogant race of worms and ants pretending themselves top of the food chain or that your special in some way or another. When in reality your nothing but play things in the grand scheme, My Scheme.
You wonder why I just don't destroy this world and tear it asunder and make an example of it. Simple. I came to deliver a Message to You Heroes. Your So Called Protectors. They can not save you, no one can. Not even my sister The Light can help you for if she could this wouldn't have happened."

Suddenly the whole of California is shocked to the core as the power from the blast triggered the so called Big One. Within moments California was nearly torn to pieces, what was once a beautiful state was now a mesh of broken cities and sunken land beneath the waves. With it's people trying their best to survive.

"As I said. Weak. This is a Message to You My Sister and Your Sons! Let it be known that You are just as Weak as those rats that at this moment try in vain to survive. Some may ask what am I and why do I do this. Simple. I Am Evil Incarnate, every evil and horrid act committed by any living being Feeds me and makes me stronger and soon I shall have enough power to rid the Omniverse of all Life and Bring forth My Dream of Chaos and Death."

In a dark flash of light The Dark shows himself in full body to the world.

"Look upon me Worms for I Am The Face of Your Destruction. I am The Reaper of Reapers. Destroyer of Worlds. Consumer of Life. I Am Chaos. I Am The Dark. I Am...(Eyes flash Red and his body trembles with energy as another blast races forward towards what remains of The Sunny State.) DEATH ITSELF!!!

From space one can just barely make out an explosion of dark energy that tears ground asunder, evaporates oceans upon contact and eradicates any living being caught in the crossfire.

The Shockwave from the blast tore through the atmosphere and destroyed several satellites and two spaces stations and went beyond that and cleaved the moon in two.

From that day forth the message was clear.

Death was coming.
