**Data File on Hunter: Ebon Wavecutter**

Ebon joined the Hunter's shortly after an incident with a rather unpleasant squid Maverick. This Maverick was attempting to poison the sea's and raise an army of mollusk themed Mechaniloid's and other aquatic Mavericks in an effort to rid the earth of humanity by targeting the water supply. Fortunately, Ebon Wavecutter was nearby before the Maverick could enact his insidious plot, shutting it down before it could grow to any perceived threat.

Personality Profile:
Ebon Wavecutter does not make friends easily but to those having the honor of being called friend by him they know he is a loyal and stalwart companion. Ebon mostly stays to himself unless around those that have earned his friendship. When around others that he likes he will be talkative but just enough to be interesting, never annoying. He will also employ his tail to "hug" those that he favor's and his energy fin is always off with those reploids. Those that he dislikes however will usually end up with some sort of wound or even a missing limb if he hates them enough but never to the point of killing them. That he reserves for Mavericks.

Weapon Systems:
Plasmatic Energy "fins" - Ebon can activate several energy "fins" along his body. His primary weapons are his arm emitters that can produce a blade of concentrated energy that cut into most materials both organic and inorganic. These cuts can range from superficial to excessively deep depending on his whims. Most of the time his cuts burn for some time even after they are made due to residual plasma lingering in the wound. He will usually only activate these only if he is in a fight.

Ebon's dorsal fin is able to be used as a weapon and is effective against boats, submarines or large underwater Reploids. Ebon usually always has his dorsal fin ignited, except in some very rare circumstances, like stealth missions where it might give away his location. Ebon's tail fin is able to ignite in the same manor and capable of some rather nasty wounds should it slice into something. His tail is extremely flexible and he uses that to great effect. His enemies rarely have a chance to dodge when he whips it around to strike someone up close by in just about any direction. His "fin's" are also capable of projecting a wave of energy outward to a impressive range. He can modulate the shape the energy waves take however turning them into spinning energy disks or just a cutting crescent.

Teeth - Ebon's secondary weapon is his impressive and very sharp teeth. These are extremely deadly in their own right as they have a bite force that has been measured to be about 1,000 mega pascals or 145,038 psi. He rarely has to achieve this much pressure though to bite through a Mavericks arm or leg but it is one of the strongest bites recorded by reploid scientists.

Defenses:
Ebon Wavecutter does not have many active defenses other then extreme mobility in the water which is only slightly reduced while on land. His armor provides enough protection from kinetic force as well as energy blasts to be respectable. When in the water however he can move with speeds that rival most sea-craft and is highly maneuverable executing hairpin turns even at high speeds. Not many reploids or creatures can match him in his element.

Movement Systems:
Variable Hydro-thrusters - The two hydro-thrusters on Ebon's back beside his dorsal fin are capable of producing enough thrust to launch Ebon through the water at breakneck speeds. These thrusters work on a principle of variable energy direction to achieve a limited level of directional control. Most of Ebon's directional control is produced by his tail and its position in the water that is in tandem with all his other maneuvering systems.

The other Two Hydro-Thrusters are on the bottom of Ebon's feet. These work in much the same fashion as his back thrusters but generally are used for stabilization or for more controlled directional changes but can also be used for a quick burst of speed. They are also capable of launching him into several meters into the air for brief periods when on dry land.
