Seek Serpent always was someone who went at it alone. He worked better by himself then others and valued his freedom more then anything else. When Sigma led his revolt Seek joined him and thought he was fighting for reploid freedom from tyrannical humans. He was not infected with the Virus as some of the others were. However, when X defeated Sigma the first time, Seek disappeared and wasn't heard from again for quite some time. In the span of the years of Sigma's return and subsequent defeats Seek kept a low profile and observed the wars that played out. The more he watched the more he was convinced that Sigma was only fighting for himself and using the reploids as his pawns. The destruction and chaos brought about by the ones fooled or infected grated more and more on Seek and he eventually had enough.

Not wanting to join up with the Hunters, but not wanting to oppose them either he contacted Hunter HQ and negotiated a pardon for himself. As long as he did not impede Hunter operations or set out to cause harm to the remaining humans or reploids then he was free to do as he pleased. This suited the snake just fine. Occasionally the Hunters could and would contact him to deal with Maverick threats in his area. He justifies his going after the Mavericks as they are seeking to eliminate humanity and form a society for reploids and only reploids. Seek has nothing against humanity as a whole and the act of genocide is abhorrent to him, so he has no qualms about eliminating those Mavericks that just want to kill and destroy. If one of his targets might be reasoned with however, he will take that route before all others. If he can't reason with the target he will offer it the option to leave without a fight or a no holds barred duel to the death. Seek does not believe in taking prisoners.

Seek is adept at both melee and ranged combat. Extremely agile he is able to dodge almost any projectile or blow making him incredibly difficult to hit. His twin pistols fire volley's of small plasma bullets that quickly add up in the damage department. When engaged in hand to hand he employs his claws to devastating effect, slicing through most opponents like tissue paper. Hardened targets do present a bit more of a challenge but typically those targets are slow and Seek is adept at quick hit and run maneuvers that quickly overwhelm them.

One of the most potent things in his arsenal is his venom. A complex cocktail that is devastating to reploids that have the misfortune of being on the receiving end. Seek typically does not employ his venom very often unless it necessary as he views it as sort of cheating. He likes to rely on his skills and speed but sometimes there are targets that have to be dealt with in this particular manner. Seek then uses his speed to get in close and bite his target. He usually only has to bite his targets once and the effects on the unfortunate reploid are almost immediate. First the venom begins to eat away at the circuitry around the bite location causing extreme amounts of pain to the reploids pain receptors. This however is the least of the targets worries. Soon the venom begins inhibiting the reploids motor skills as it gets harder for the victim to move. Each motion becomes agonizing as the venom paralyzes the motor functions of the victim until even blinking becomes painful. With every circuit screaming in agony the reploid eventually succumbs to complete paralysis and quickly overloads its core processors resulting in self detonation. It is not a pretty way to go and Seek only uses it on the most reprehensible Mavericks he comes across.

Personality wise, Seek enjoys soaking up the sunlight and just being left alone to do as he pleases as he rarely wants to hurt anyone or anything. He loves to practice complex and dare devil acrobatics in the badlands that he makes his home in. Humans and reploids that are passing through have nothing to fear from him and he goes out of his way to protect caravans that pass through his territory without charging anything for his services. He likes to talk to just about everyone and he has a few friends in Hunter HQ that he regularly engages in conversation. The only ones that have anything to fear from him are those who seek to enslave others or somehow inhibit the freedom of himself or anyone under his protection.
