I would love to go in and fix everything bad about this piece, because boy howdy is there a lot, but I'm soooo sick of looking at it for like a month solid.

This picture is set in the 1940s as a way to inspire and I to start writing a for-fun story we've been planning for like months, the running theme being paranormal investigation (exactly like everything else I write, am I one-note or what, jesus). They're all my characters though because I didn't want to balls up someone else's. This is a seance to call up some kind of Lovecraftian tentacled monstrosity I guess idk. It appears to be working, due to Johann vomiting ectoplasm in that very peculiar way.

At center, Johannes Weiss, genetic anomaly, physical psychic medium, pathologist.
At left, Ellie Moreau, classical telekinetic, know-it-all.
At right, Vera Fortier, fishgirl, other pathologist, Canadian.
