this is the closest I've found to a tattoo idea I've had for sometime, the only, ever so slight difference is, the wings i was thinking about where a little fuller with tears in them and visible clock-work style gears viewable in the tears. maybe some bronze/copper style pipe outlining the outside of the wings. Other than that absolutely gorgeous.

With your permission I wouldn't mind using this for a tattoo on myself, and if it comes to fruition I'll be more than happy to post a pic of the finished product.

Wow... this is....... wow. Nice. Its exceedingly difficult to find something to crit this time. I guess if anything comes to mind, its the thicker cables between the feathers look a bit... odd in places. Other than that, its just touching up the outer area of the image with an erasor in your image editing package. The detail is really good though, you're improving out of sight, grats ^_^
