Equipped with all the bells and whistles that any starship in Starfleet is issued, the Spartan does not live up to its name in that respect. But it lives up to it in another, being a tough starship which can fight to the very end.
With extending nacelles similar to the Delta Flyer 'Runabout' the Spartan is the first ship to have this revoluionary warp design implemented.

You should ask one of the modellers on google sketchup to turn it into a model. Thats what I did with my Swiftwind model [link]

very nice design for a federation starship. I like the all round match together design. it is something fresh compared with all the warp pylon extension normal standard Starfleet ships have in general.
