Description This is my submission for next week's Apophysis WTC - Free For All. This would have been my submission to the Apophysis WTC for this week - May Flowers. However, on Sunday morning, a bad storm ( called a derecho by The Weather Channel) blew through and knocked out the power AND the phone service (including my DSL). I never got a chance to vote for last week's or submit for this week. The power did not come back on until Tues around 4:45 pm and the phone did not come back on until about 6:00 pm on Wed. I never realized how dependent I was on internet connection, but I really felt cut off from the rest of the world. Anyway, all is well, now.

I dedicate this picture to my mother for Mother's Day. She lives about 300 miles from me and I miss her a lot. Before Hurricane Katrina, I saw her often. Now, not so much. I love her very much and I wish her a very Happy Mother's Day, as I do to all you mothers out there.

This was done in Apophysis 2.08 3D. I tweaked an old flame (that almost sounds dirty), in which I had used the 3D flowers script by Shortgreenpigg .

Wow, Roz, that's a really nice thing to say and a very high compliment coming from you! Thank you so much.

I like this one because of the "flowers in the meadow" feel to it. I'm just sorry I couldn't submit it for WTC. I think it might have done well. Ah, well, next week's theme is "Free for All", so maybe I'll submit it for that, instead.

Good for you. Hope you win. I never seem to get any journals from WTC yet I am a member... I wonder why?

I see you all submitting stuff and never even know a thing about any of it.

I have checked to make sure the journals is ticked too.

Another dA glitch perhaps?

You might want to check to be sure you are getting their journal. I see it in my Deviant Watch. You would be tough competition if you ever decide to enter one. Some weeks are hard and some don't have too many entries. I guess it depends on the theme. But, the more the merrier, so why don't you think about it?

I have checked and I am supposed to get the journals. There must be a problem somewhere along the line.

Did I send you this Peggi? Scroll right down to the bottom. This person has done a great job with these images:[link]

Sorry if I already sent it earlier.

Yes, you did. I posted a comment about it on one of the other deviations. They are gorgeous! When you first sent it, I wasn't sure what I was looking at. But, then, I didn't scroll down. Those pieces are beautiful! Whoever did the eBay page did a wonderful job. The pictures of the piece hanging in rooms with furniture really shows how striking it can be! I was quite impressed with the presentation. I hope you sell some through there. Please let me know if you have any success. I didn't realize you restored art as well. You have an amazing array of talents, it seems, Roz. You were obviously gifted in the arts!

Thanks a lot, Destiny. You can restore it from McAfee. At least, that's what I do every day. I just restore, use it, and the next day, when McAfee quarantines it, I restore it again. It doesn't appear to be doing anything to the computer, so I don't worry too much about it. I think it's a strictly McAfee thing. Something about a new way they're using of identifying suspect programs. I just think they need to be told that Apophysis isn't what they're looking for and to please let people mark programs as safe so that McAfee won't keep quarantining it.

By the way, I just finished the 2nd level of Underworld (Lara in Niflheim with the Kraken). I only died twice and mostly from not making the necessary jump right. I may play it again and go a different way than I did the last time. I like it so much better when she isn't being shot at or having to do a timed run or a tricky maneuver. This level was pretty straightforward. The Kraken was too cool! Ugly sucker. It was also the first time I've tried the Chimney Jump (took a few goes to get it) and the handholds thing, which was interesting. Slightly different from just moving along a ledge. I'm still blown away by the graphics. I just stand and look around a lot of the time. Lara does that thing where she stretches and crosses her arms and looks generally bored, like "Get on it with it, honey". But I take my time anyway. She can get over it.

HAHA keep on practicing those chimmney jumps there's alot more ahead! The motorcycle got on my nerves!(heads up) ALWAYS remember where you park it and make sure its near! There's tigers and panthers ahead too...have fun! As for my apo.... fracfx said I should delete my whole folder except for my plug ins and save them somewhere else then... download it again.
I guess I'll try that.
