Description This is a Scottish styled Damascus Dirk that I made. Technically it would be considered a lady's dirk because of the size (overall length just under 9")

Very very nice work. Do you vend anywhere or is this just a hobby for you? You've got some talent.

Thanks.
I do some work to sell at Scottish Highland games that I go to. Others, like this one, go to friends or get sold on eBay.

Nice damascus pattern. What steels did you use?

I must say that the transparent fitting creeps my eye a bit but design is very subjective thing...

I used some ready made stock (shoulda mentioned that) from Alabama Damascus (Knifemaker's guild member. Great guy)

As for the transparent fitting. It's actually wood. Some sort of maple I think. Shaped and buffed with bees wax. I hadn't noticed until now that the patterns sorta match.
