Reminded me of Daedalus from Macross, especially the front & lower part, and those 6 'bubbles'.

I don't know how Wolff does it, but the way I usually do it is this:
Carrier - Large, under-armed vehicle (with a defensive bias) whose main role is carrying smaller craft for a variety of roles;
Battleship/Battlecruiser - Large, heavily-armed offensive warship that uses heavy missiles or heavy guns asΒ their main weapons;
Cruiser - Long-range independent combat vessel that can also act as the centre of a flotilla of smaller ships; typically equally balanced offensive and defensive armament;
Destroyer - Smaller ship with a defensive bias intended for the convoy/fleet escort role;
Frigate - Similar to a destroyer but primarily intended for the offensive scout/patrol role;
Assault Carrier - Staging point for marine assaults including operating landing vessels and support aircraft;
Landing Support Transport - Carrier for small landing assault ships
Marine Carrier Vessel - Assault ship
Auxiliary Replenishment General (ARG) - Transport; carries general supplies;
Auxilliary Replenishment Ammunition (ARA) - Armoured to carry extra weapons;
Auxilliary Replenishment Special (ARS) - Carrier for nuclear weapons
Auxilliary Replenishment Oiler (ARO) - Tanker for ships
Auxilliary Replenishment Fuel (ARF) - Tanker to replenish fuel supplies for fighters, helicopters, etc
There are also anomalies such as types of destroyer/carrier hybrids for the specialised anti-submarine role.

Β There is no real method on how I classify anything. I do research until I find a classification that I feel suits it.

You land in the same runway you take off. Great concept but one accident and adios runway.
