Description
An entry for the [link] contest held by for his run "Odd Ones".Basically, he used to be a big guy in the gambling circuit and quit to pursue his dream of opening a pastry shop.
...well, kinda. Whatever, he hustled, and now fights for the rebellion to crush the evil Fennel and her army of double-decker rabbits. Rabbits.
...okay, sue me. I had tons of caffeine and I'm hyper and bleugh.

ah, love this backstory with the gambling hustler getting a taste of his own medicine and reforming to want to make a pastry shop, which is just the funniest detail. the psychic effect with the eye is cool and like the sigilyph choice as well as how you show why you chose the sigilyph with the floating cards.
is the sigilyph his only pokemon or does he have others? and if he has others what pokemon are they? it's not noted in the description

I hadn't really gotten an idea, but siglyph is pretty rare so he was his hustling buddy (not many people would recognise it as a pokemon, bla bla etc) but I suppose he could have other pokemon.
I didn't know what to put, as if he is a companion of Eric as one of the High Fives, then he might need to have proper, unova-based pokes (I had this crazy idea he could have a psychic-based team with Slowking, Exeggutor, Metang and stuff for awesomeness sake.) There would definitely be a theme going like that, but maybe he could have a team based on the spiritual types (ghost, dark, psychic, etc.)
So maybe the team could include:
Sigilyph
Lampent
Gothitelle
Bisharp
It would work, he could have a good enough movepool to cover the types, and it fits as a theme, but it's all speculation now. This is my idea but obviously it's your choice in the long run.

ah gotcha, and actually, it'd make even more sense for him to have pokemon from another region, espeically since he used to run a gambling circuit. Pokemon stopped putting the gambling corner in pokemon games after heart gold, so having him come from a region with a gambling corner would make sense more so than starting in unova.
and alright, I'll consider that his team. and psh, I scale walls of text all the time, this is nothing in comparison to WOT I've seen before
