Description

Inspired by the works of JoinSpider, which often feature a pair of two characters (like this: www.deviantart.com/joinspider/…), I have decided to create a picture of my two favorite characters and my favorite romantic pairing: Psylocke and the Kingpin. I am drawn to seeing them together and due to my requests, JoinSpider had made two pictures where Psylocke was with the Kingpin. In one of them Psylocke fought Fisk ( www.deviantart.com/joinspider/…), while in the other Fisk and Psylocke fought Black Cat and Spidey respectively ( www.deviantart.com/joinspider/…). Amethyst2013 had made this wonderful picture of Kingpin x Psylocke ( www.deviantart.com/amethyst201…) and there are few drawings by CylorSan:

Sure, in the official material Psylocke would never work for the Kingpin and more so, they would romantic ship, but in my personal canon and storytelling Psylocke serves the Kingpin as his personal assassin, bodyguard, spy, lackey, underling and right-hand woman and of course they are or can be intimate with one another. That's the beauty of fan fiction and creativity, you can create scenarios and situations that be improbable and unlikely to happen in the official canon. And while pairing Psylocke together with the Kingpin is quite uncanny and unorthodox, it keeps things interesting and is just overall very fun for me to do. Honestly, I am more interested in this kind of scenarios rather doing a more traditional take (pairing Psylocke with, say, Archangel, Cyclops or anyone else). I would not have as much enjoyment as I do now if I did more common scenarios with Psylocke. As to how and why Psylocke would wind up working for the Kingpin? Well, it's up to my and others' imaginations. Maybe she works for him voluntarily, maybe she is forced (through blackmail or mind-control) to do this, maybe it's a temporary alliance. Anyone can decide for themselves. One thing is for certain: the Kingpin has very beautiful and attractive, but extremely deadly and dangerous woman at his side as his top enforcer and that can only spell trouble for anyone who stands in Fisk's way.
