Question: Do you have any tips for charcoal art? I've done some before (usually messing up my table in the process) but you're AWESOME at it.

Dunno about tips but I could tell ya how I usually do it. First get yerself a drafting table so you're not drawing on a flat surface. Or build yer own, I made mine at about a 30 degree angle but I kinda keep adding to it all the time, making it steeper and steeper. Whatever floats yer boat.
Get charcoal PENS like the ones in the pic and one of those lil' erasers cus normal erasers are too chubby.
Draw from reference, it's one of the best ways to learn imo. I used a screenshot from the game for this one. Then just keep your ref as close to your paper as possible because it makes it easier to spot the difference and so far I feel like when it comes to portraits it's all about spotting the difference, still kinda new to it tho so you know... grains of salt and all that : P

Okay, thanks so much! I have normal charcoal, but I haven't tried charcoal pens. Are they more precise? I'd imagine they're less messy, though!
Also, is it just me, or are some of the Clouis shippers really toxic? I said I ship Violet/Clem, and then I was told to 'go die'.

More precise AND less messy. I also recommend using sandpaper when sharpening them, lest you want them breaking all the damn time ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
As for the shipping! Can't say I've noticed either or : P Guess people just have strong feeling on the matter, which is a good thing. Telling other people to go die however... less so :E
