I've had the idea for this one alllll week and I was so excited for this prompt!!!  I started it last night but finished it up in between working on commissions.

I don't think I've ever drawn any Shattered Glass stuff. I should do it more often. For my non-TF followers or for those who don't know, Shattered Glass is an AU in which the Autobots are the bad guys and the Decepticons are the good guys. I was super excited for this one, mostly so that I could draw the designs I had for these two.  Both Shockwave and Blackarachnia are science officers in the Decepticon ranks (Everyone knows Shockwave is, but I feel like a lot of people forget that BA was too, even though literally almost every one of her schemes is science-based), so I feel like the SG versions of these two would be lab buddies.

For Shockwave, I mostly based it on this version of him . I don't know if this is canon or not. I can't seem to find it anywhere else. But I liked the colours and only tweaked a few of them. I especially liked that his pupil was now sideways like a goat so I decided that if canon!Shockwave is gonna be a deer, then SG!Shockwave is gonna be a goat. So I swapped the mismatched horns he sports in the ref. to some big ol' ram horns. Go big or go home, ya know?
For Blackarachnia, rather than just having her paintjob be the same as it was when she was still Elita One (something that most SG versions of her have), I decided to do a callback to her G1 colour scheme and make her pink. I also based her spider attributes more on a tarantula than a black widow, so now she's all fluffy.

I have some vague ideas for tomorrows prompt, but whatever I do, rest assured that there will be angst.
