Description I know I said I probably wouldn't draw anything due to my depression over the recent loss of my dog, but there are just times when you get bored in class, so you look through some papers in your binder...
I found a paper that had only 2 lines on it, so I randomly connected them together to make Ed's left bang (your right). The rest of it just seemed to fall into place... I finished drawing this in my 3rd block class while my english teacher yelled "THIS ISN'T ART CLASS" at everyone... yeah, I don't care...
Originally, he was supposed to be all angry and crap... but I added in the blush marks, and seeing as I wasn't in a very artistic mood to begin with, I just left him automailless... -finds that attractive somehow- I suppose he could be angry-blushing because Winry just yelled at him or something... I dunno... >.> don't care...

PFFTTT SILLY TEACHER. drawing Ed is more than art ;D
D: you should draw more, you obviously have a talent! I can understand being depressed, especially over losing a pet, but drawing can really help; we can lose ourselves in art and express our feelings that way... think of Ed as well! he never gave up- he kept on going!
okay I'm babbling now but anyway, good luck with your life. ;; and dun be depressed!

lol, well thanks. its not that i'm done drawing for good or anything, its just that for those first few days after losing my dog I was really depressed and didn't want to do anything. now i'm back to drawing again, and i'm actually debating over what i want to draw next...

I was just saying 'cause I don't like seeing people being all depressed, especially when they're awesome artists ;; I understand that, being depressed sucks and you don't wanna do anything... D| I'm glad that you're drawing once again though! Good luck!

My English teacher last year decided to tell me that if I drew in her class again (which I did, LOL) I would get a detention because I was 'failing' her class. (I was at an A- average at the time. I don't fail English Class) Then she told us to draw and write on the whiteboard for a yearbook picture on the same day. PFFT!

lol. my english teacher has this incredibly strong OCD disorder or something. we have to focus on her whenever she's talking, and we're not allowed to write in our notebooks unless she tells us to. generally, no one's drawing or anything, they're just trying to catch up on the massive piles of homework she gives us. but seeing as the past few days I haven't really been up to doing anything, I toned her out and just doodled the whole class. >.> i honestly don't care what she says

My teacher last year was...similar to that, only she was bat shit crazy. Pardon my French. Sorta. I asked her for help on something I genuinely didn't get - sentence diagrams- and she just GAVE me the answer, didn't teach me how to do it. Then I failed the quiz on it. Gee, I wonder why.
and she blamed me for it. Which I guess is part of the issue, but I just didn't understand it.

Oh I can relate. My teacher refuses to even acknowledge your existance if you speak in fragments. Everything has to be in a "perfect" sentence for her to notice you. Even then, you cannot use the words "like" in your sentence, and if you ask for help on something, her automatic response is "You're an 11th grade Honors, college prep student. Use your resources to figure it out. No, you can't use the internet, it's filled with junk. You cannot leave your seat to get a dictionary/thesaurus."
...
THEN WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO USE?! My book is old as crap, falling apart, and missing pages. The teacher knows the answer, but she wants to fill the role of "smart ass" just to tick people off.

I was in a 7th grade advanced language arts class (don't laugh. I'm in 8th grade ) and we didn't do anything 'advanced'. the only thing we did was...maybe...work a few days ahead of everyone else. Nothing was especially challenging; 'cept the sentence diagrams. And those I get now because I HAD TO TEACH MYSELF. (which I don't mind, because half the stuff that came out of that woman's mouth was BS)

Oh, I won't laugh at you. The youngest friend I happen to talk with is about your age, give or take a year, and I love her to death. Age makes no difference to me (no homo, no pedo.) And as far as teaching yourself, I'm actually experiencing that right now >.> My Math teacher can't teach for squat... we have to teach everything to ourselves straight out of a math book...

and get this -- I'm not in the advanced class this year ( I will be next year though) because I got a B+ average. She says she only puts people in the AP class if they've got A's. My friend had straight A's, she was in my class, and she's not in it.

My math teacher is dry, but he teaches. My language arts class this year has been one of the best classes I've ever had. Best. Teacher. Ever.

lol, well I'd have to say my best teachers this year have been for history and for Anatomy (<- as strange as that may sound)
