Description I went ahead and ripped all of the eye styles (with the exclusion of 2 because they were identical) from the female worgen's alpha model and applied them to my edit!

If you haven't read my bit on the worgen reveal from my edit page, here is a bit of background!

As many of you know, the new models for goblin and worgen were shown at BlizzCon 2018!  When it comes to worgen females, it is something I am very passionate about.  For a long time I have detested the live version because of their chihuahua-esk appearance.

When the model was revealed, I was actually quite mad because it felt like all they did was improve the pixel count and get rid of the snarl.  So I sat down and really pondered why I hated this model so much and it dawned on me.  I was always a fan of the alpha models.  They never made it to live, being swapped out for the current models we have now.  Over the years, I had advocated for the female worgen to get an overhaul on their appearance, at least bringing some of the aspects that were in the alpha model to live.  Blizzard did not do this with the new model however they did say in an interview with WoWhead that they were not completely happy and the model wasn't finished.

So with the inspiration within me, I decided to attempt to make a model of my own that did, in fact, bring elements of the alpha model to the new model, namely, the ears and eyes.  For this model, I changed the ear positioning from the side of the head to the top to give it a wolf-like appearance.  To prove that Blizzard were on the right track with the alpha models, I actually ripped one of the eyes textures from their alpha models and applied it accordingly, getting this result.  Needless to say, I'm blown away by it and pray that this somehow reaches Blizzard's art teams, hoping to inspire them to bring a fierce look to the worgen like this.  The cutesy-Disney look can stay, sure, but I would greatly prefer something like this.

I have actually made a forum thread to critique Blizzard's model and explain how the new model could be improved.  If you wish to show support:  us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/to…

A big improvement. Still didn't like that muzzle if it's the only one we get stuck with. Savageness Blizzard.
