I did this little gem in the 3rd grade which would make me about 8 years old. It was for some safety project in school. I remember being very proud of sneaking in some carnage into this. My young mind already twisting into what it has become now LOL.Drawn in crayon on that shit paper provided by the school.

hahahah i used to draw stuff like that as a kid, and my mom DID make me see a herapist. the 1st guy told my mom to let me keep doing it, outlets were great for the mind, and oh by the way your daughter has attention deficit disorder. the second said give her this pill she will be fine. my mom stopped taking me after awhile and let me keep drawing (thank god)

I had a great art teacher in jr high and high school. He encouraged whatever you liked to draw. My sketchbooks were filled with car crashes and blood and gut like crazy. He was always "thats great! Keep it up"

you know...... I brought back a load of my old school drawings to my room at 's house and I was considering posting them here on devart. I wasn't sure how kid drawings would go down, I may just do that now 
I love kids drawings, they're like golddust to pyscho-analysts! (for example, a lot of male kids growing up in the nintendo/sega explosion in the eighties tended to draw huge scenes layed out like a platform game!)

man this shit is fucking hilarious...makes me want to dig out some of the stuff i did back in the day.
it's really made me think though...every kid has pretty much the same capacity for drawing at this age...yet most people claim that they have no artistic potential.
i think Art should be as mandatory as Phys Ed...but that's just me
