I am not sure what you mean. Converting means that I can take a 3d model and make it into .mesh to work in the game.

On the mesh, when you load it, go to the Material box. Type in this Test/duck_body and then press the arrow. In there, type Test/duck_eye. It should work. Capitalization Counts!
