remember that back in the 80s there was a squadron on F-14 Tomcats wearing those three-color bands on the frot fuselage; one of the most beautiful and colorful schemes ever wore by Tomcats. We all know the current habit on finishing modern jets in that overall dull and boring grey, with practically no other color all over the aircraft. That is why I am wondering if now they are back to colorful schemes (seeing thisSuper Hornet) or if it´s just an exception...

Actually, VFA-2 does have at least one really colorful bird (the CAG bird)...
