Logoth (coming from logotherapy) is a spiritual being created by the universe to govern and be the 'god of Unconscious Thought'. Logoth has the ability to slip in and out of our known dimension, though dreams and sometimes sleep paralysis episodes. They do not cause harm, they mostly watch over the known race. Lototh was created by the Higher Powers, as were the other Guardians.
As confusing as it is - the basic way of explaining it is that the universe created everything, including the Higher Powers. The Higher Powers were created to govern the universe, and the Higher Powers created 'gods' or 'guardians' of particular philosophical aspects of life to help keep a balance.
Lototh was created to govern unconscious thought, and to make sure the intricate patterns of it are regulated. Logoth, coming from the term 'logotherapy' - the belief and practice that follows the logic that human nature is motivated by the fact life has a purpose, and the practice is that search for meaning.

Lototh has a quiet nature, almost literally. They are completely mute, communicating through sound waves and telepathic thought. Dispite this, Logoth is quite intelligent and is able to control themselves in stressful situations -- which governing this particular philosophical aspect can be at times. They are very careful with their communication and attempts to be very careful with their actions.

There are also other guardians other than Logoth, who all rule under the Higher Powers.
Unlike everyone else - the Guardians are basically under rule of the Higher Powers directly. Everyone else has more 'free will' than the Guardians - and receive a less harsh punishment if they step out of line.
This is because if any of the philosophical aspects of life somehow become out of balance - it can cause chaos within the universe, which can lead to death, destruction and even alterations of time and space - which would put many things at risk. It's not exactly known what happens to Guardians that step out of line, but it would be expected their status would be revoked.

Guardians do not reside on Earth, or any of the other planets. They live in a different dimension - one similar to a void of sorts - one that is between Earth's dimension and the center of the universe.
This void can connect with Earth's dimension and also stay connected to the center of the universe.
This void doesn't contain anything other than the Guardians and the Higher Powers.
