Description
This piece was originally inspired by the Siouxsie and the Banshees song by the same name, although it definitely isn't meant to be an actual illustration of the song. I just felt inspired to put some images together and see what manner of strange Asian garden might be conjured forth from them. Stock used to help create this piece comes from *mjranum-stock for the figure and shutterstock.com for the fish and background. The rest is just old-fashioned paintin' skills.Related content

After learning of Siouxsie and the Banshees, it is much clearer what it is that you are potraying here. Because I didn't know who they were at first, so this piece was one that I did not understand fully what it is that you were trying to express aside the great composition and also movement. It drew me in to look closer and at the details in studying the message. And than coming upon the lyrics of 'Hong Kong Garden', it is much clearer how you have found another way of expressing their unusual word play through this piece here..Great translation into this piece here Shannon..
